KIM M. STEIN, MD 

Dr. Kim M. Stein joined Sharon Direct Care in 2025, bringing over a decade of experience in primary care. She completed both her undergraduate and medical education at Boston University before completing her family medicine residency at the University of Virginia. She held previous faculty positions at the University of Virginia and at Brown University before moving to Sharon Direct Care.

Dr. Stein has a passion for caring for the whole family—from pediatrics to geriatrics. She has a special interest in women’s health, including contraception, perimenopause, and menopause care, and is a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner. She believes in supporting her patients not only when they are sick but also in helping them live their healthiest, most fulfilling lives.

After practicing for many years in traditional primary care, Dr. Stein saw how the system often failed both patients and physicians. She was drawn to the Direct Primary Care model for its focus on building strong relationships, providing unrushed visits, and removing the barriers created by insurance. At Sharon Direct Care, she looks forward to partnering with patients to achieve their health goals through truly personalized care.

Dr. Stein has lived in Sharon for many years and is thrilled to practice closer to home. She and her husband Daniel, also a physician, are raising three energetic boys. Together, they enjoy spending time outdoors, hiking at Moose Hill, and visiting Ward’s Berry Farm on weekends.
